Chayei Moharan

Chayei Moharan is a bibliographic work narrating parts of Rebbe Nachman’s life. There is a variety of information consisting of stories and details about Rebbe Nachman and his different teachings. There are extensive details relating to the dates Rebbe Nachman revealed his Torah lessons, and associated events. Among the documented events that transpired throughout his life are his journeys, dreams, visions and other mysterious and mystical experiences. Through these incidents one gets a glimpse into Rebbe Nachman’s lofty spiritual attainments and the greatness of his Torah teachings. Originally written by Rebbe Nosson, Cheyei Moharan was composed with the intention of relating Rebbe Nachman’s greatness to future generations. It however remained unpublished circulating amongst Rebbe Nosson’s students until 1873 when it was finally printed by Rabbi Nachman of Tcherin.
