One of the most outstanding figures in Breslov Chassidus over the past century was Rebbe Yisroel Dov Odesser. He was very much involved in the revival of the Breslov movement in Israel at a time when it was comprised of a small group of people. Today his efforts continue to bear fruit as countless people are introduced to Rebbe Nachman's teachings through the large printing and distribution efforts he helped create. Rebbe Odesser or Saba "Grandpa" as he was termed by his followers is the founder of the Breslov Nanach movement. Yisroel Saba is an autobiographical work with special emphasis on his childhood and how he discovered Breslov Chassidus. A large portion of the sefer contains actual recorded conversations of Rebbe Odesser. Rebbe Odesser's life is not only a fascinating one but is also filled with inspiration.
